Show j. i SPRINGDALE I Springdale. Oct. 24. It is reported that Carl Crawford who was taken to a hospital at Salt Lake some weeks ago and underwent an operation is still confined to his bed. i Junius Ruesch was taken to St. j George this morning to have the band- agse taken from his arm. Everyone is i happy to see him looking so much bet-; bet-; ter so soon. J William Gifford came home Sunday j from St. George, where he has been the past week. i Othcl Gifford left Sunday morning for St. George where he intends to attend at-tend high school. I. H. Langston, Mrs. Emily Gifford ! and Mrs. Adelia Dennett spent last ! week doing work in the St. George temple. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Gifford went to St. George last Tuesday intending to work in the temple one day then go on to the Sevier and visit relatives. Their son Larkin went with them. Mr. and Mrs. George Short moved to Zion Park Lodge Oct. 20. to spend the winter as overseers. A number of our men are working on the Pine Creek road now. Miss Lillian Atkin sicnt Friday and Saturday in Salt Lake City returning to her work here in the school room Monday morning. |
