Show LIONS CLUB TO RECEIVE CHARTER The St. George Lions club has selected December 15, as Charter Char-ter Night. At this time the official of-ficial installation of the charter of the local organization will take place. , A large number of Lions from other clubs in the state are expected to be present. J. W. Thornton, district governor gover-nor Of the Lions organization will be present to present the charter. char-ter. The Cedar City Lions club is acting as sponsor for the St. George club and their president has notified officials here of their intention to be here in a body for the ceremonies. Invitations are being mailed to officers of all Lions clubs in Utah. Following the installation ceremonies cere-monies and banquet the St. George Lions and their guests will cooperate with the leaders of the band of Dixie college in a social dance at the college gymnasium. A feature of the dance will be the continuous playing play-ing of two orchestra's. Dr. D. Elden Beck, president of -the St. George Lions club has announced the following members as heads of the various committees for Charter night. General Chairman, Lion Or. val Hafen; Entertainment, Lion Eric Snow; Master of Ceremonies, Ceremon-ies, Lion Maurice J. Miles; Finance, Fi-nance, Lion Wesley A. Nelson; Program, Lion P. D.
