Show WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, Aug. 20. 'Mr. and Mrs. Earl White and family of Los Angeles are here visiting relatives. Linda Larson and Ida Jolley returned re-turned home last week from Los Angeles where they attended summer sum-mer school. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Cooper left Tuesday for Wellington, where Mr. Cooper will teacher school the coming com-ing term. Mrs. Heber Atkin and family have returned from California. ; Misses Nina Nisson and May Jol ley spent the week end at Hurricane. Hurri-cane. Born Daughters to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Larson and Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent and a son to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Neilson, Jr. The Junior girls of the St. George South ward and the Trail Builders of the East ward enjoyed a swim at the Cascade Monday. Mrs. Misha Bigler of Nephi arrived ar-rived Tuesday to visit relatives. Mrs. Israel Neilson, Sr., entertained enter-tained a few friends at a surprise party Thursday afternoon in honor of her daughter, Mrs. W. O. Nisson, the occasion being her birthday. Dinner was served at 4 o'clock, and covers were laid for fourteen guests. She was assisted by Mrs. Antone Neilson and the Misses Nina and Phyllis Nisson. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Jolley have returned from Delta and other northern points. Eldon Larson is here visiting relatives. rel-atives. He attended summer school at Los Angeles and will leave soon for Las Vegas where he will teach school this winter. |
