Show LEEDS LEEDS, Oct. 22. Mrs. Ivan Decker of parowan is visiting her sister, Mrs. Edward McMullin. Frank P. McMullin had the misfortune misfor-tune Saturday evening to break his arm while cranking a car. Boss Savage, Clair Sterling and dyde McQuaid came up from St. George to join in the deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. George Lamb of Bingham are visiting at the home of Mrs. Lamb's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nichols. George came to join the deer hunters. president Ada McMullin and Lizzie McQuaid attended the Relief Society convention in St. George on October 20. Ihe shaft near the Cooledge mining min-ing claim, being sunk oy the Co'.bath-Silverman Co'.bath-Silverman Co., is progressing rapidly. Tlie successful hunters from here were: Ward Jolly, Irvin Bryner, Will K&itman and sons, Mervin and Arvil, Charles Angel, Eldon Fuller and Milton Mil-ton Moody. Miss Irene Harris Is spending the wit in St. George. Mrs. Alex Colbah and son, Glen of Cedar City were visiting at the home of Mrs. Colhath's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Olsen. The boys and girls of Mr. Ford-ham's Ford-ham's music class of last summer are doing excellent work under the direction of Charles Hansen. The following went to St. George to attend the Relief Society pageant: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hansen, Mrs. Minnie Harris, Mrs. Evelyn McMullin, Charles Wright and Irene and Ethel Harris. Mrs. Edwin Dalton has spent the past week in Harrisburg where her husband is working. Carl Calwell of Berry Springs has moved his family here. Mr. Calwell is building a cement house in the upper part of town. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hartley have gone to Beaver to make their home. Mr. Hartley has employment there Mr. and Mrs. Clifford McMullin -were in St. George Monday for medical medi-cal attention for their three-weeks-old baby. Mrs. Earl Storm is at the home nf her narpnts. Mr. and Mrs. Will Sullivan. Mrs. Storm is recovering from a serious illness and operation. She was bitten some time ago by a black spider. Mr. Storm is a ranger on tne Kaibrb. Mrs. Ada McMullin is ill. Her many friends wish her a speedy recovery. |
