Show ROCKVILLE ROCKVILLE, Oct. 22. Born a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Will Reg-land Reg-land on October 16. Mrs. Regland was formerly Miss Genevieve Russell. Born October 15, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. David A. Dennett. Mrs. Rhea Wakeling of Toquerville was a visitor here last week. Mr. and Mrs. David Hirschi and Mrs. Mary Hall of Hurricane were visitors here 'Monday. Benjamin DeMille, Clyde DeMille, and Clarence Sanders of La Verkin were visitors here Friday. Floyd Lambert had the misfortune misfor-tune to lose the end of his thumb while cutting cane last week. Arthur D. Cex has moved his family fam-ily in from Orchard farm for the winter. Mrs. Lester Dalton left last week for an extended visit with relatives in New York City. Miss Onita Barnhurst left last Sunday to visit relatives at Nephi. Joseph Hirschi was badly hurt last Thursday while driving his car up the LaVerkin hill. A Cadillac touring tour-ing car, traveling in the opposite direction, met the Hirschi machine at the blind turn and in the collision col-lision which followed, Mr. Hirschi was knocked from the dugway and suffered suf-fered a broken leg, thres broken ribs and severe bruises about the head and face and on his body. He is recovering recov-ering as well as can be expected. Mrs. Guy DeMille made a trip to Virgin Monday. Mr and Mrs. Pete Chevenic of Vir-r Vir-r and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Marker of Cedar City were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy DeMille last Saturday. The Church History class of the Sunday school gave a party at the home of Marvin Terry Friday evening. eve-ning. There were 15 present. Evan the two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D.' Cox, is ill with a severe attack of pneumonia. |
