Show MQDENA (Too late for last week.) MODENA, Oct. n.-Mfr. and Mrs. Samuel Bleak Sr. of St. George have moved up here for a short time while he is doing the plumbing on the new hotel. C E Wormley has gone to Gold Springs to do the blacksmith work at the mines. Leon McAllister, third trick operator opera-tor is back again on his job after working as operator at Milford for some time. Lavonda Truman of Enterprise is helping her sister, Mrs. Alvin Iverson Iver-son who is feeding the workmen it the new hotel. The Eagle Valley cattlemen have rounded up their cattle and are shipping them out today. Saturday and Sunday we had several sev-eral flurries of snow but it has cleared up again and is almost like summer during the day. Mrs Gargaret Peterson, teacher at Modena, leaves today for Salt Lake City to attend the teachers' convention. |
