Show NEW HARMONY NEW HARMONY, Oct. 24. Thursday Thurs-day evening, October 18, the ladies Republican club held its first rally. David Hirschi of Hurricane, Walter Slack and Rhea Wakeling of Toquerville, Toquer-ville, Dr. Leonard of Salt Lake City were the speakers. A ladies' chorus from Toquerville and Lewis G. Ellsworth Ells-worth of Salt Lake City furnished .some splendid musical numbers. After the meeting, the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. danc-ing. Refreshments of doughnuts and punch were served. Deer season in this section has been rather lively, almost everyone who came in getting their deer. There were over thirty men at Roy Grant's ranch and every man got a deer. Dr. Leonard of Salt Lake City who has been enjoying deer season here, spent one day performing tonsil operations. op-erations. Little Coleen Hammond had the misfortune to fall from some steps about four feet from the ground and break her collar bone. She was taken to Cedar City where Dr. Macfarlane cared for her. Mrs. Loren Taylor is in the Cedar City hospital having her leg treated. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Farr and daughter of Spanish Fork are here enjoying the deer hunt and visiting relatives.
