Show sT. GKortGE CAMP by lH-1 .Mar i-l-on Plans fur the Christmas holidays holi-days have bhhn arranged and planm.-l I the camp by 1st Lt. Charles E. Larkin and lA. Lt-land Lt-land O. Gee. They include a six day vacation, a Christmas program on Thursday, the twentieth twen-tieth with a Christmas dinner in the afternoon. Most of the fellows in camp have planned to spend Christmas at their rt.-peaive homes. A choice ot a Christmas or a New Years vacation was given to the members. Our educational program is going strong. Typewriting and : Forestry seem to be the most popular classes at present. Turning to our work projects we find, in totaling our figures, j some surprizingly large amounts. I On the Oak Grove camp ground j project at Leeds, the 6anta Clara ; creek and the (Winsor) Santa Clara dam, for the month of: November, 4,000 man days, 10,-000 10,-000 pounds of hay, S.000 pounds' of oats, 2,000 gallons of gaso-1 line, 200 quarts of oil, and 16,-: 000 pounds of cement were used. A hauling average of 6,000,000 pounds of materials was trucked at an operating cost of $2,000 with a truck mileage of 6,444,-0 6,444,-0 00 feet. |
