Show l'ATIIE STUDIOS WILL SHOOT SCENES FOR WESTERNER, HERE Tho Sol Lessor Company of tho Tatho Studios of Culver City California are sending In a company com-pany of about thirty-five people to arrive here on next Saturday' Docombor 15 th, to take the exterior ex-terior scenes of the picture, "When a Man's a Man", starring G-oorge O'Brien with Dorothy WUlson as the leading lady, directed di-rected by Edward F. Cline, with Frank Good, as cameraman. Mr. Good was for years connected with the Torn Mix productions and for years has had the reputation repu-tation of being the most famous western story camera-man. According to Robert J. Ellis, art director of this company, they will have completed all of the interior scenes of this picture before the company arrives here. The scenes to be taken locally are of the Out-door part only. One of these is to be at the reservoir near Ivins. This to be filmed as the lake where the water feud between the ranchers takes place. There will be 100 cattle used, thirty of them to be in fair condition and seventy of the .poorest old crows that can be found. A rodeo will be staged at the Race Track with the public invited invit-ed out to see how it is done. Some scenes will also be taken on the streets of St. George' Mr. and Mrs. Cline, George O'Brien ar.d part of this company com-pany recently returned from Europe Eur-ope where they completed their last picture which will soon be released. It is expected that the company com-pany will be here over a week shooting these scenes. They chose this location because of its ideal climate. It being necessary nec-essary to have sunshine to shoot the pictures satisfactorily. |
