Watson, Mr. Watson's mother, Mrs. Melissa Watson, and his sister, Mrs. Vivien Woodbury, left this morning for Salt Lake City where they expect to meet another of Mrs. Watson's daughters, Mrs. Pearl Lyman of Oregon, with whom they will visit after attending the centennial celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Empey and family of Parowan were here Saturday Sat-urday evening and Sunday visiting visit-ing relatives and friends. Twenty-five member of the family gathered gath-ered at the Joseph Empey home Sunday and enjoyed a birthday dinner in honor of Clifford's anniversary. an-niversary. Harry Webber, demonstrator for the National Orchard Heater Co., of Covina, Calif., spent the fore part of the week in this county demonstrating the firing up and use of the orchard heaters in Santa San-ta Clara, Toquerville, LaVerkin and Hurricane where they have been purchased. Mr. and Mrs. John T. Woodbury, Sr. spent Saturday in Hurricane attending the wedding celebration being given there in honor of their granddaughter, lone Woodbury, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Win. E. Woodbury, who was marired last week in the St. George temple to Reed Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Bradshaw of Hurricane. Mrs. Anna M. Belnap of Salt Lake City and her daughter, Mrs. Orson Hall of Preston, Idaho, have been visiting friends in St. George the past few days. Mrs. Hall left for her home in Idaho Monday. Mrs. Belnap is remaining for a few days with her daughter, Mrs.' Henrietta Ruby in Washington. They expect to leave Friday to spend two weeks in Salt Lake City. . ....... ,-. .
