Show SHORT CREEK SHORT CREEK, March 29. LoRoy S. Johnson, who has charge of the road work here, has his crew of men working on the creek crossing. Miss Helen Kent and Stella Peterson Pe-terson spent Saturday evening in Hurricane. Henry Covington and family passed through here last week on their way to Taroweep, where they have a homstead. Mrs. Lizzie Colvin returned on Monday from St. George where she has been nursing Mrs. Annie Colvin through an attack of pneumonia. pneu-monia. Guy D. Semple, who has been away for three months, has returned re-turned home. Millard Black has gone to herd sheep for Jos. T. Atkin, Jr. Mrs. La Verne Lauritzen has been ill with tonsilitis for the past few days. Joseph Millet, who has been ill in Kanab for about two weeks, is able to be back home again. George Harris and his mother of California spent a few days here on his homestead. J. E. Black has been quite ill the past few days. |
