Show EXCELLENT PEACH CROP SEEN IN SOUTHERN UTAH Outlook for a good peach crop in the southern part of the state is excellent, ex-cellent, although the crop will be considerably con-siderably below the estimate of several sev-eral weeks ago, according to Walter Kingsbury, supervising inspector of the federal bureau of agricultural economics, eco-nomics, who was in this section last week. Three carloads ol early peaches have been shipped from the southern part of the state, he reported, and there have been shipments of other lots not amounting to carload shipments. Those shipped have been graded carefully, Mr. Kingsbury declared, and only the best have been sent to market. It is estimated that about forty cars of Elberta peaches will be shipped from the southern section this year, and two or three cars of Bartlett pears. All of these are to be graded with more than usual care, and only the best placed on the market. |
