Show NEW HARMONY NEW HARMONY, Aug. 6. Due to the storms the past eight days we have the assurance of plenty of fall feed for our flocks and herds. The farmers are pleasured to see the blue sky again that they can begin harvesting their hay and grain crops. Schmutz Brothers are putting their shearing plant in shape for the fall clipping of mohair, which will begin about August 15. Mr. and Mrs. James Poster, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Macfarlane, Dr. and Mrs. F. H. Petty and Mr, C. B. Petty of Cedar City vzere visitors here last vtri.. The Misses Verna and LaRue Cox of St. George spent the, week end in town. St. George spent the week end in town. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Ballard of Grafton have been visiting for some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Kelsey. Jos. McAllister and Mack Bowman of St. George were hers this week on goat business. E. L. Schmutz and family are on a vacation in northern Utah. Orson Hammond has returned to Cedar City to resume his work, after spending some time here visiting his family. Rulon Taylor and Lawrence Prince made a trip to Kane county last week. Our roads are in good condition, after having been washed out twice within the last week-Harry week-Harry Slack of Toquerville has te-cured. te-cured. a lease on a corner of Don Schmutz's lot and will erect a store building. Lee, Melvin and Kenneth Cox of St. George were business visitors in town today. A. P. Mathis was in Cedar City on business today. |
