Show ZIO.V PAItK (AMP P-2 Much to the confusion and chagrin of the publicity department depart-ment of CCC Compuany 1966, 1st Lt. A. F. Vorpahl, Inf. Res., Camp Adjutant, succumbed to the wiles of the always busy Cupid, sythical captivator of hearts and nemesis of aspirants to the guild of blissful bachelorhood, bache-lorhood, last month, during his recent trip to New Mexico. The exact hour and 'day of the marriage, as per a telegram from the Lieutenant to Captain Charles M. Kennedy, was six p.m., November 27, 1934. The other and most important party to the contract was the former Miss Dorothy Merchant of Capi-tan, Capi-tan, New Mexico. Mrs. Vorpahl hasn't, at the date of this writing, writ-ing, been presented formally to the company, but the men are looking fprward to the event in the very near future. It has been observed that the captain is really quite "a twitter" twit-ter" about his anticipated trip to Oakland, California, during the Michelmas Holidays. By a simple method of deductions: So was Lt. Vorpahl just before he left to be married; it, too, was just "one of those trips;" the Lieutenant returned, but not alone. Will the captain? The circumstances are similar. It leaves much to the imagination or does it? |
