Show . o SAY AN APPRECIATIVE WORD As a rule, good counsel yesterday still remains good counsel today.. Well might it profit us to heed the old-time miller's words of wisdom to his son. It was good advice then; and it's good advice now. Said he, "My son, let thy flour be of the very finest, and thy service unexcelled and much business will be thy reward. But fail not to say the appreciative word, also, lest those who buy return not to trade with thee again." Words of appreciation are never wasted. No matter how highly we regard our fellow men, if we don't let them know it once in a while, our esteem is of little value to them. The same is true in business. It doesn't do a bit of harm, to tell the folks who deal with us that We appreciate their friendship and good will. It's just good business to do so. |
