Show INVESTIGATE BEFORE BUYING WITH a boom in progress in Las Vegas as the result of the proposed pro-posed construction of the Black Canyon dam on the Colorado river, St. George may look for an epidemic of high-powered real estate salesmen from California and Nevada. Some will have legitimate propositions, while others will be fakes. The same condition condi-tion has existed in the course of every real estate boom in history. Real estate salesmen have already visited us, and some of their offers appear shady. One who told prospective pros-pective customers that his land lay within seven miles of the site of the proposed dam, when confronted with a township map, admitted that his prospectus was incorrect. It was found that the land he was trying to sell lay 17 miles from the site. There also was no assurance that the purchaser, upon the completion of the payments, would receive a clear title. Before investing, look into the proposition prop-osition offered, see that it is above-board above-board in all respects, and that you are assured a "run for your money." Investigate thoroughly before handing hand-ing over your money. If there is any doubt, whatever, let it alone. There are many opportunities for profitable investments in-vestments right here in St. George and Washington county. |
