The Athenia club enjoyed a party at the home of Miss Julia Foster last Thursday night. Miss Arvinia Beatty of Toquerville was a visitor here the latter part of last week. J. M. Swapp of Kanab attended the carnival here the latter part of last week. Misses Rachel and Mary Miller and Mattie Earl left Friday for Monticello to resume their teaching there. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Milne of Cedar City were visiting relatives here last week. Mrs. Len Carter left the local hospital hos-pital Wednesday after spending several sever-al days there for treatment. Mrs. Vera Mitchell and children returned re-turned Friday from Clinton, Missouri, where they spent nearly two months with relatives.
