Show SPORTS The campus of the Dixie College Col-lege is the scene of much action of late. Sports of all kinds from tennis to track can be seen on all sides. The track team promises to play a prominent part in the tri-state meeting to be held in Las Vegas and in the Utah state high school track and field meet to be held in Ogden soon. The Dixie boys are expected to make a mark. On the tennis court, every afternoon af-ternoon practice games are being be-ing played. The contests this year in this activity promise to be good, and much keen competition will have to be overcome before the final victors are selected. A. Pax-man, Pax-man, defending champion in the singles, will probably be a great threat in the finals. Ensketball season being over, all those not participating in tennis ten-nis or track and who are taking physical education, may be found on the campus three times a week, from 3 to 4 o'clock, engaged in a lively game of baseball. Well, take it all in all, even though basketball, Dixie's favorite favor-ite sport, is over for this year, the boys are still keeping busy. |
