located close to town they aro are now planning on a campaign among tho the schools of uintah county for the conservation of vald life and may havo have a most interesting contest to enounce in this line soon game burds imported among one of tho big things done I 1 this year that has its real fruition in tho the future was the importing of hungarian partridges and chinese pheasants to uintah county of the shipment of hungarian partridges imported from Hung axia by the state fish and game department 6 pair were brought bere by the club and partridges with young have been seen in the valley chinese pheasants were more plentifully brought in setting of eggs amounting to were placed in various sections of tho valley and about 25 per cent hatched henry secretary of the club as instrumental in getting 3 shipments of young ung pheasants from tho the Sparing ville hatchery of 50 birds in each shipment which means that at least hardy game birds will be in the valley to commence next years crop of young it is the intention to add to these next year by further and also to procure other new game birds suitable to our climate thus within the next few years making a wonderful bunting hunting paradise big start to stock streams Str cams while not as many native and rainbow trout were planted as tho the club desired practically every stream of any importance in uintah county received somo some fish of the 8 truck loads planted at various times in our streams et reame five of these were native and tho the balance rainbow tho the whiterocks hatchery hat chory all bo be ono one thing during the year than make this one trip they could well say 11 see what we have done this part of the work for next year has not been out lined but this and other sections will be
