years since joeeph alonzo black came bit all a small emol boy with his family to settle in ashley valley the year was waa 1079 the fattier father of the family jo seph dlack black bd hla ble wife betsy ann were call ed to help settle fettle the far eastern part of the state of utah with them came their two small email children lydia ann and lon along with other relatives w who also came from snyderville derville summit co utah after that first hard wit win ter betsy ann become became ill and died iler her husband cut up hla his wagon box to make a coff coffin in in which to bury her hers acres of form farm land after a few years it was war found that the children needed better educational facilities so after a winter spent in vernal the family moved to salt lake city where they bought another home the children were now growing up and when the daughter beulah married and moved to lovel wyoming she sh a and her husband persuaded the rest of the family to join I 1 them here they lived happy active busy lives three boys and one girl filled honorable mis alons for the church the oldest son con carmon was bishop of th lovell west ward in wyoming and at the present time 0 Is bishop of the ath ward in salt lake city and owns the downtown hotel daughter veda askew lives in salt lake city her husband william Willi arn J askew is a supervisor at the main post office there deulah beulah husband sterling threet threat has a government m mall all contract and lives in mesa arizona son joseph 11 II Is field representative for ohio oil co at lovell wyoming son paul Is s a decorating
