BREEDJNG AWARDS Chain Heifer awarded to one member of the Better Breeding Registered Beef Club, which is one of the two chains originally started by Uintah State Bank, now First Security Bank. First Security Bank will also furnish fur-nish the insurance on this heifer for one year. Eligibility Eligibili-ty calls for a letter stating reasons wanting the heifer and an. explanation of experience acquired and facilities available for caring for the heifer. Eligibility calls for a letter stating reasons for wanting the sow or an explanation of experience acquired and facilities available for caring for the sow. Zions First National Bank will award a chain registered beef heifer. Eligibility calls for a letter sta-ing sta-ing reasons for wanting the heifer and an explanation of experience acquired and facilities available for caring car-ing for the heifer. Nick Meagher awards: 1 trophy, Grand Champion bull. Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Commission awards: 1 trophy, Grand Champion Cow. Should we have Breeding Swine that qualifies for Grand Champion Boar or Grand Champion Sow, the Uintah Basin Jr. Livestock Show Committee will award 1 trophy each in these two places. Breeding Dairy Goats: Steve Regan awards one 50 lb. bag of feed to the best doe of show. f I Ken's Spot-ting Goods will award a sleeping bag to a general exhibitor chosen by the executive committee based on cooperativeness, contribution to the show, and presentability of self, animal and stall throughout the show. Basin State Bank will present a Junior Premier Exhibitor Ex-hibitor trophy for the 4-H member under 14 years of age contributing the most to the success of the show. Contestants will be judged by the Stock Show Committee Commit-tee based on exhibits shown both in quality and quantity, quanti-ty, and general all-around cooperation with show officials. of-ficials. H.S. Sowards & Sons, Your Conoco Dealers, will present pre-sent a Senior Premier Exhibitor trophy to the FFA member and also the 4-H member contributing the most to the success of the show. Contestants will be judged by the Stock Show Committee based on exhibits shown both in quality and quantity, and general all-around all-around cooperation with show officials. Leo Snow will award $10.00 for one 4-H member and one FFA member for having cleanest pen throughout the show. Vernal Drug Co. will award a $25.00 U.S. Savings Bond to the Outstanding 4-H or FFA member who contributed con-tributed the most to agriculture and has a genuine desire to further study in the field. The recipient must agree to hold the Bond 7 years, or until the second year of college, whichever occurs first. $25.00 will be appropriated ap-propriated to any 4-H or FFA member considered by the Executive Barn Manager and Show Manager, to have had unfortunate circumstances. Knitter's Boutique awards: 1 crewel embroidery kit for one 4-H and one FFA girl for the most contributed over entire show. Taylor Herefords-Lyle, Brent and Julia, present a trophy for over all premier exhibitor this trophy will be awarded fora 4-H or FFA member contributing most in Overall Breeding. |
