Show National, Foreign briefs Warfare hasn't nixed Reagan's England trip President Reagan said he still plans to visit England despite the intense warfare that has sprung up between Britian and Argentina, and plans to begin the 10-day four -nation trip June 2. Deputy White House press secretary Larry Speakes said only "extraordinary" circumstances would cause the President to cancel the England leg of his trip, which also includes visits to Paris and Rome, where he will meet Pope John Paul II. Reagan plans to meet with Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and to attend a' summit of major industrial democracies at Versailles near Paris. |
