Show Robbery case ends with guilty plea A Vernal man entered a guilty plea in 4th District Court Tuesday to a charge of aggravated robbery of a local grocery store Jan. 25. Judge Allen Sorenson set June 8 as a sentencing date for David Packard, 20, who is being held in the Uintah County Jail in lieu of $12,207 bail. Packard originally pleaded not guilty to the charge in 4th District Court, and his case was scheduled to go to trial last week. He was accused of holding up the Shop-N-Go Market, 118 West Main, using us-ing a six-inch knife, and taking $420. |
