Show ACCIDENT IN HYDE PARK. On Friday evening the 18th inst. as Wm. Hawkes was driving his team from the wagon to a mower near by, one of the tugs came down and as he was picking it up one of the horses kicked him in the mouth inflicting quite painful injuries. Three front teeth were knocked out and two others loosened, and he was knocked forcibly to the ground. The fall injured his head and right arm, which are quite painful. With the aid of a gentleman who was passing at the time he was assisted into Bro. Turner's buggy and taken home, where he was immediately cared for by Dr. Hancey. He is getting along as well as could be expected. |
