Show A FIGHT. ?? Heneger and George McCulloch met at the Logan House last evening, and an old quarrel was brought up between them. McCulloch became the aggressor, and pushed Heneger. He also challenged him to "have it out." The two thereupon repaired to the rear of the hotel and pounded one another until they were generally satisfied. It was a one sided affair though, for Heneger bore no marks of the fray, while McCulloch's face was a sight to see. This morning both plead guilty in the police court of fighting. Heneger was assessed $8, while McCulloch was committed on a judgement of $11.25 including costs. McCulloch was next charged by an officer with being drunk, and, on conviction was fined $5 and costs. Not having the wherewith to pay up he was committed. |
