Ferguson, of this city, will start on a tour of the Eastern States, their main object being to give lectures on Utah and her people, and to present the woman's side of the "Mormon" problem, which has been so shamefully and persistently traduced by various unauthorized self constituted expositions of the church authorities. These ladies, who are in every way qualified to impart authentic information upon this important subject, sustained by the prayers and good wishes of their brethren and sisters are about to go forth to represent the ladies of Utah so long misrepresented by pseudo champions and pretended well wishers anxious to gain wealth and notoriety by affecting an interest in their peace and welfare. They will very likely go directly to New York. |
