The young lady then smacks her lips and impatiently waits for the next bridge.

We lately examined some of the home made cloths in the stock of Neilsen & Henstrom, tailors, and found them to be neat, stylish and durable. A piece of home made broadcloth, was as nice a piece of goods as any one need wish for. They keep the best stock of home made cloths in Cache Valley.

The ball in Providence Hall last Friday night was attended by a large and select company who enjoyed it very much. It was the first of series to be given there by the Angell Orchestra and Henry Bullock, Esq. and we know of no parties better qualified to get up successful? and enjoyable entertainments. The next of the series comes off? this (Friday) evening.

One young man who was intoxicated succeeded in getting into the ball room in Providence on Friday last, during the progress of the ball. He was promptly ejected, but came in again, enscounced himself in a corner and went to sleep. He observed very good order while he was asleep, and at the close of the ball, his friends carried him out of the ball, and assisted him home.

One of the finest photographs we have lately seen is one taken by T.B. Cardon, the subject being a young lady and gentleman. Mr. and Miss Achichere? The pose of both is good, the expression is pleasing, while the photographer has done his part so well that the picture is really a fine one. A large phtograph of Elder Moses? Thatcher, taken just previous to his departure for Mexico, by the same artist, is very fine. |
