Show OGDEN AND WYOMING RAILROAD. The Ogden Herald publishes particulars concerning the project to build a railroad from that town to the Mammoth coal beds on the Wyoming border. The following are the names of the incorporators each of whom has subscribed for 100 shares. John S. Lewis, J. M. Langsdorf, W. G. Child, Wm. Van Dyke, R. F. Hill, F. A. Shiels, C. B. Higbee, Wm. Beers, Joseph Clark, P. B. Dooly; all of Ogden; and F. A. Hammond, of Huntsville. The officers of the company are as follows: John S. Lewis, President; F. A. Hammond, Vice pres't; Wm. Van Dyke, Treasurer; Wm. Beers, Secretary; Directors: J. M. Langsdorf, R. M. Dooly, W. G. Child, Jos. Clark, F. A. Shiells, Wm. Van Dyke, R. F. Hill. The capital stock of the enterprise, as we stated before is $2,000,000, in 20,000 shares, at $100 each. It is proposed to commence operations at the end of the road as soon as the weather will permit and to push the work vigorously ahead to an early completion. |
