Show LEHI CELEBRATES FOUND-1NG FOUND-1NG OF THAT CITY Thursday was performed the unveiling un-veiling ceremonies of the Pioneer monument, which was erected last week on the line of tho old fort wall. The monument Is a tall obelisk of Vermont granite, set on a granite base, on which U Inscribed) Inscrib-ed) "Lelil Pioneers' Old Fort Walli" a plat of tho city as Inclosed Inclos-ed In the old wall, and the following follow-ing bit of history: "Lehl, settled 1850, Organized as n ward 1851. David Evans first bishop. Organized Organ-ized us city, 1 852. Silas Barnes firttmayor. Erected 1808." ( ' The monument cost about 8800.' ) Many of tho first Hcttlcrs, win came to Lehi in 1851, were jires-l ent, several of them coming from other parts of the state to be, present pres-ent at the festivities.
