Show District School Notes , The building contractors and the board of education mot nt the Parker school Monday, Deo. 7, to discuss the completion of that building, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene L. Roberts Rob-erts paid the Pnrker school a pleasant pleas-ant visit tho early port of the week. Mr. Roberta has recently returned from a mission to Germany. He was a teacher in tho city schools a number of years. Postmaster James Clove with Supt. Rnwlings is visiting the var ious EchooJs of the city this week in the interests of tho U. S. pojtal service, and in compliance with the order given bo the postmaster-general at Wellington, D. C. The talks by Mr. Clove have been interesting in-teresting as-well as very beneficial to tho pupils of tho city schools. The graduates of our public schools held a class meeting at the Franklin rchool Friday. The purpose pur-pose of tho meeting was tho selection selec-tion of class pins, Mr. Eugene L. Roberts also visited the Franklin school during the week, giving the pupils of the eighth grade a talk on bis trip to England. |
