Tho cooking can be done In lrpn kettles, ket-tles, or by means of steam In barrels or tanks. It answers very well If the llmo and sulphur nro cooked In 20 to 25 gallons ot water and then dllutod, using cold water it moro convenient Although It Is necessary to have tho mixture slightly warm when applied, It need not be very hot. Tho best tlmo tor making tho application ap-plication is Just beroro the buds open In the spring, and little or no barm will bo done by spraying even ntfor tbo buds show n pink color. In fact, If applied at that time there will bo no occasion far using Pordoaux mixture mix-ture until after the fruit has set. |
