Show On Saturday afternoon, May 23, 1896, a large bald Eagle lit on top of the upper ball of the St George Tabernacle, and remained there until a few minutes past 8, on Sunday Sun-day morning, when it flew away going in a southeasterly direction. From a rough estimate, we should judge that the bird was about 40 inches in length from the tip of his bill to the end of his tail. On September 12, 1878, a bald Eagle lit on the spire of the St George Temple and flew off the next day. Some people are great believers in omens, and we would respectfully respect-fully ask such what omen they attach at-tach to this circumstance? One fellow said "there is one satisfactoin, that if I can't get tick at Booth's Store, I can always get the worth of my money. Milo Washington Andrus and Miss Nary Mixon were united in the holy bond of matrimony on Friday, the 22nd of May, 1896 wedding reception was held at the residence of the parents of the Bridegroom.
