Gardner said he hada desire de-sire to always be on hand to do all that may be required of him, as he has children entrusted to his care and desired o teach them the ways of life. Our children are our joy and we should teach them the ways of the Lord. Bishop lied said he realized a great responsibility rests upon those who address the youth of Zion as we are held to account for what wo teach them ; and in raising up families we should teach the youth to be equally united and not take companions of those who are not of our faith, as being unequally yoked brings trouble. Ben net Bracken knew that in our meeting together we are trving to teach the youth the ways of the Lord and it does seem to me that we are doing the most of our teach- . ing to the outh, and that is as it should be, and we should be as strict in keeping the commandments command-ments of God, as those to whom they were given anciently. We should be sure that we make a good record while we live. ; . . ; Choir sang a glee "Blow the winds merrily over the sea.""
