Show Alleys or Public Places in said City within the time prohibited i Section 1 of this Ordinance, unless there exists ex-ists a reasonable necessity therefor. Section 3. Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance is guilty of an offense, and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine in any sum not to exceed Twenty Dollars, or to be imprisoned in the City Jail not to exceed Twenty Days, or to both fine and imprisonment. Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of St. George, that it is hereby made unlawful un-lawful for any person under the age of seventeen years to be or remain in or upon any. of the Streets, Alleys or Public Places of the City of St. George, at night after the hour of 10 o'clock from April 1st to September 30th inclusive, and after the hour of 9 o'clock from October 1st to March 1st inclusive of each year, unless such person is accompanied by a parent pa-rent or guardian or in the performance perform-ance of an errand or duty directed by such parent, guardian or other person having the care and custody of such minor person or whose employment em-ployment makes it necessary to be upon said Streets, Alleys or Public Places during the night time after said specified hours: Provided, that this exception shall not apply when the person under such age shall be playing or unnecessarily loitering in or upon said Streets, Alleys or Public Pub-lic Places. Section 2. It is hereby made nulawful for any parent, guardian or other person having the care and c istody of any person under the age of Seventeen years, to allow or permit such child or ward, to go or to be in or upon any of the Streets, |
