S Smart founder of the town of Franklin Idaho were set apart to visit their relatives in England and obtain genealogies In October 1888 he was married to Miss Anna Haines in the Logan temple temple tem tern pIe and following spring he was called called call call- ed on a a mission to Europe The Tho first part of this mission w wd spent in Turkey On account of oC poor health he was transferred to the London conference In England His health did not improve and in two months he was ordered home For eight or nine years he lie performed various labors here In Utah and in April 1898 was vas set apart as a missionary to the eastern states Within a month he lie was appointed by President President Free Free- dent ilent A. A P.
