Show SOCIETY By Ethel Schonian The Connors were agreeably surprised Monday evening by a group of theeir friends who came bearing supper and gifts. After supper, the guests entertained themselves by playing bridge, or chess or anything that suited their fancy. A large leather suitcase was presented to Mrs. Connor and a duplicate one to Frank. The guests included: Mr. and Mrs. Oakes Halstead, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hogg, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crocker, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hollenbeck, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Selsh, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Bishopt Mr. and Mrs. Grant son, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Porter, Mr. Murdock, Mr and Mrs. Axel Pier-and Pier-and Mrs. J. G. McGuire, Mr! and Mrs. J. W. Johnstun, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Orr, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schonian, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Lid-dell, Lid-dell, Mrs. Charles Barton, Mrs R. 'M. Pope, Mrs. J. W. Seaton, Mrs. A. M. Murdock, Mrs. Ernest Schon ian, Mrs. A. J. Feller and Mrs. Charles Burdick. Mrs. Ernest Schonian and Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Schonian had as supper guests Sunday evening, Mrs. Mary Connor, Frank Connor, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnstun, and Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish of Myton. After supper, the party attended the movie theatre. The Woman's Study Club met at the home of Mrs. R. M. Pope Saturday. Sat-urday. A' very interesting paper on the Canary Islands was read by Mrs. Arthur Orr, followed by Current Cur-rent Events. Delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served by the hostess and the Club adjourned to meejj next with Mrs. Melvin Poulson. |
