Show Murdock Takes Netural j Stand On Mail Route o Congressman Abe Murdock, following a visit to Carbon County, notified the Price chamber of commerce that he and other members of the Utah congressional delegation probably will maintain a neutral stand in the controversy of the changing of the Uintah Basin Mails from that point to come out of Salt Lake City, according ac-cording to the Helper Journal. A large delegation of businessmen business-men from Duchesne, ' Myton, Roosevelt, and Vernal, attended a luncheon at Haber, a month ago, to which Congressman Murdock was invited in order that the Basin side of the question might be presented to him. The delegation dele-gation passed a resolution requesting request-ing that Mr. Murdock take a neutral stand, with which he agreed. |
