Show BONETA Ruth B. Madsen President Owen Bennion, his wife, his sister Mrs. Chase and Mrs. Powell o Mt. Emmons passed pass-ed through Boneta Friday, en-route en-route to Salt Lake to attend Conference. Con-ference. A number of Boneta people attended at-tended Conference in Salt Lake. o Saturday evening October 7 Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Reynolds entertained entertain-ed the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Brandon, Mr. and Mrs. W. Oman, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cox, Mr. and Mrs. E. Tidwell, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Tidwell, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Brandon, and Mr. A. O. Madsen. The occasion was their 32nd wedding wed-ding anniversary. Hot dinner was served and the remainder of the evening was spent In dancing, playing games and music. o Mrs. W. Erickson who has been visiting in Tooele and Salt Lake for some time, returned home Sunday. Sun-day. Her daughter Coleen accompanied accom-panied her. Mrs. J. W. Moffitt, who has made an extended visit to outside points and attended conference in Salt Lake, returned home Monday. o A brother of W. R. Evans is visiting with him. He comes from an Eastern state. Mrs. .A. B. Madsen visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Erickson, on Sunday. There was no Sunday School held in Boneta last Sunday. A number of town people went to the Jed Crawford home and listened listen-ed to the conference program over the radio. o Mr. and Mrs. Jed Crawford and children Miss Desma Crawford and Mrs. J. Swasey have gone to Monroe for an extended visit. Mr. Clint Fox who has J been visiting with his sister Mrs. T. J. Brandon accompanied them as far as his home in Salt Lake. The farmers are busy digging their potatoes. Most of them report re-port a fair crop. o Relief Society meeting was held at the regular hour on Tuesday. Mrs. T. J. Brandon gave the Lit-1 .erary lesson. o Mrs. H. A. Price and Mrs. A. O. Madsen returned from Salt Lake Monday where they attended conference. con-ference. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Snow and daughter Mrs. 'Alice Swasey are visiting at outside points. Mrs. Ver Dastrup of Altonah visited with her Mother Mrs. J. Young last week. Nephi and Heber Moon of Hannah Han-nah were in Mt. Home Monday to attend the fun f al of Mrs. Thayne. Sam Zufelt "and" Wife of Mt. Home have bought a home In Midway, Mid-way, Wasatch County so are move-ing move-ing there.' Vern Wardell and Wife are also moving to Mlrway, Mrs. ( Wardell is a daughter of Mrs. Zu- , felt Their friends here will miss them. George Casper of Fruitland was visiting friends here Sunday. o Ada Franklin has moved to the I. D. Bunce house. o Sarah J. Lyons is moving in the Pace house. Mary Walker and Hannah Miles were Roosevelt visitors this week. Ruth Cattrell spent the weekend week-end in Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Oman of Boneta were visiting with their daughter Anona Miles on Tuesday. Irving Caldwell of Duchesne was in Mt. Home on Tuesday. |
