Show Pioneer and Friend Passed Away Friday Mrs. Annabelle Thayne, 76 died Friday night at the home of her youngest son, Rulon Thayne, her death came - after an illness of only a week. Mrs. Thayne with her husband, John L. Thayne were among the first settlers of the Uintah Basin, living in Mt. Home. Mr. Thayne passed away three years ago. They were both active act-ive members of the L. D. S. church, unto their deaths loved and honored hon-ored by all. Surviving are four sons, Albert Thayne, Emmit, Idaho. Thomis, Alma and Rulon Thayne, Mt Home five daughters Mrs. Alice Morris-ling, Morris-ling, Montana. Mrs. Nora Mills, Joe Town Utah; Mrs. Mary Smith, Sterling, Utah; Mrs. Olive Farns-worth, Farns-worth, Upalco, Utah; Hazel Farn-sworth, Farn-sworth, Mt. Home. 56 Grandchildren Grand-children and 10 Great Grand-children. Funeral services were held Monday the 9th in the Ward house with Bishop Rowley conducting. Singing was furnished by Ruben and Lillus Wilkins, Oneta Fortie. Mrs. Utley, Anona Miles, and Leora Farnsworth. Speakers were: Mr. Roger Horrocks of Cedar-view Cedar-view and Mr. Roy Oman of Boneta. Many beautiful words were spoken. |
