Show Police Bulletin- A 1963 model sedan, driven dri-ven by Bennie Lynn Rolfe, 20, Roosevelt, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nelson, rolled over a 40 foot embankment near Current Creek Sunday at about 5 p. m. Her companion was Sherly Ruther, 17, of Mid-vale. Mid-vale. Both girls escape! injury. The westbound car was being driven into the Current. Creek area, when it slid and went off the north side of the road, rolled rol-led over and landed at the bottom bot-tom of the embankment. Highway Patrol officers reported that the girls crawled out of the winshield frame and hailed down a car and it took them to the Current Creek Lodge, where they. called the Highway Patrol to report the accident. Estimated damage to the car was $500. 00. Highway Patrol officers drove 255, 215 miles in the district dis-trict patrolling the highways. They recovered 13 stolen cars in inter-state transit, and ' arrested 25 persons involved. Officers put in 938 hours of overtime without compensation. |
