Show Elder and Mrs. Marvel L. Moore have been assigned to Wellsville, New York, to fill their short term mission for the Duchesne Second Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Moore Mo-ore wrote to Mrs. Gladys Odekirk, her sister, that they arrived in New York January 18th. after seven days of travel from Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Day, of Salt Lake City, formerly of Duchesne, drove along with the Moores, as they were ass-assigned ass-assigned to the Cumorah Mission Mis-sion , also, and ane working in an area 400 miles from Wellsville. Mrs. Moore said they planned to see the Days this summer at the Hill Cumorah Cum-orah pa gent. Relief Society work counselors in both Duchesne Ward and che Duchesne Second Sec-ond Ward were released Sunday, Sun-day, and others were sustained to fill the vacancies. Mrs. Pauline Brown was released from this position in the first ward and Mrs. Edith Carter was sustained and Mrs. Edna Rasmussen was released from the Second Ward Relief Society as work director counselor, and Mrs. Marie Kielbasa was sustained. |
