It has cohesion and the members use their energy in working together cooperatively. The group program reaches the feelings of its members and the attitudes are created which bring about solidarity and action. A dynamic group requires a dynamic leadership. Any group is likely to reflect amoung its members the attitudes and the quality of its leadership. We feel that it!s time that such a group and its instructor were complimented and given a little of the recognition that they so richly deserve. So here's a salute to The Duchesne High School Debutantes-and Mrs. Juanita Rogers, The Debutantes were organized or-ganized three years ago. A contest was held and each girl submitted a name for the organization. or-ganization. The name chosen could not have been more ap- propriate. Last year the Deb's faced the possibility of .being dissolved; due to the fact that they were without a choreographer. Rather Rath-er than let this happen, Mrs. Juanita Roger's wife of high school principal, Keith Rogers, volunteered her services without pay. Since then she has worked with the 29 girls for 1 class period pe-riod a day. Among other things, she has taught the girls this year' the Heel First Marching Style, High Prance, High Kicks and Splits. As we are sure youVe noticed this has indeed added varity to their routines.
