Show Louise Moon Wins Betty Crocker Award jpjf ; LOUISE MOON A 50-minute knowledge and attitude examination, which deals with the duties and rewards of home making in todayfs society, was given to the senior girls at the Duchesne High School recently, and Louise Moon, pres- ident of the DHS student council was the high score winner. She Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer R. Moon, Duchesne. To signify her achievement, she was presented with the Betty Crocker Homemaker pin at the faculty assembly Friday at the Duchesne High School. Miss Marva Mae Horrocks, of the DHS faculty, is her advisor. Miss Moon is a member of the Future Homemakers of America Club at DHS. Her written test paper will be entered in competition for the state honors. This 11th annual Betty Crock ei Search program is approved by the National Association of Secondary Schools Principals. Judging is by Science Research Associates of Chicago, nationally known educational publishing and testing organization. This program was launched by Genera Mills, Inc. , to emphasize the importance of homemaking as a career. |
