Show TIGER TALES The Tabiona Tigers played Uintah Utes January 21, and lost by 3 points. The Tigers led the ballgame all the way, giving the Utes quite a scare. The fourth quarter of the game, two members of the Tiger team fouled out. These two were Leon Jones and Lavon Giles. This caused the Tigers to fall behind but still giving the Utes a rough and tough game. The final score was 60-63. The students at Tabiona High are real pleased with school this year. They feel they have never had a better qualified faculty as they have now. Also the students would like to thank Coach DeLange for all he has done toward helping the basketball team. The members of the team bought Mr. DeLange a beautiful beauti-ful sweater of various colors of brown to show their appreciation appre-ciation for all the time and effort he has spent with the team. The Pep Club of Tabiona High School would also like to extend their appreciation to Mrs. DeLange for helping out with the marches and uniforms. uni-forms. The Pep Club has improved greatly since Mrs. DeLange started helping. The Tabiona Tigers got their blazers of olive green and on the pocket of the jacket, is their initials. The team really looks nice in them. Good luck to Coach DeLange De-Lange and to the smallest school in Utah, Tabiona Tigers ! |
