Mrs. Myrtle Larsen entertained a number of ladie3 at a quilting Wednesday. Those attending Sylvia were: Jennie Wathen, Goodrich, Jennie Goodrich, M. Verona Winkler, Zella Goodrich, Cleona Remington, Mina GoodLarrich; Mable Adred, Agnes BurDora Mabl Therning, sen, dick, and Zola Stevenson. Mrs. Lucile Winkler, Mrs. Zella Goodrich and Mrs. Vcrnona Goodrich were Roosevelt visitors Friday. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Murray and two sons Kenneth and Ronald of Tooele were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Murray from Saturday evening to Monday morning. Those attending the Seminary at Altamont graduation exercises Mrs. Sylvia on Sunday were: Goodrich, Mrs. Hazel Goodrich, Gladys Stevenson, Florence Murray Mr. and Mrs. William Larsen,' James O. S. church for Mrs. Lucy Allred Moffitt, who died May 17th at the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City. Interment was in the Talmage cemetery. A daughter of John L. and Sarah Elvira Allred, Mrs. Moffitt was bom in Spring City, Sanpete county on September 6, 1879. She married Edgar Moffitt in the Manti Temple December 7, 1904 and lived at Ferron until 24 years ago when the family moved to the Uintah Basin, making their home in Talmage. A tireless church worker, Mrs. Moffitt was an active member ot the Relief socltey, acting as secretary and visiting teacher fora a number of years, as well as teacher in the Sunday school. Surviving are her husband and Elvira Mrs. three daughters, Rutherford, Roosevelt; Ruth and Leone Moffitt of Talmage; two grandchildren; her mother, two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Hansen of Castled ala and Mrs. Sarah Reynolds of Talmage and one brother John L.
