Again we approach the Christmas season which marks a great Church. epoch of the Christian Once more will be rehearsed the Nativity of our Lord, whose glorious life has given comfort, solace, hope and cheer to countless millions of people for nearly two millenniums. As the true meaning of the birthday of King Immanuel dawns upon us there will shine clear and bright for us a star of hope which will guideus along lifes pathway and in the dark hours of mortal existance there will be a Christian cheer and hope within our bosoms. It will turn sorrow to comfort, bitterness to solace and discouragement to hope. Those small gifts given to our friends and loved ones bespeak of a love and devotion which is beyond human analysis in its depths. Also, the gift of God to the world in His Son, Jesus, the Christ has broken a great barrier with many a man and brought hope and cheer to him. An everlasting tie has been cemented between God and man. It is the binding point of the Brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God. In a few days there will again be heralded around the globe, by word of mouth, by pen, telegraph and by the radio, those cheering and grand words, Merry Christmas. Lets make these words ring with meaning and sincerity. These are not the shallow words of the base, the lewd, the ruffian or the satirist. They belong to the one who has a large and sympathetic soul, a place for his brother, a determination to make his world just a little bit better and happier. They express the words of a liv- - ded much to the day and n for its share of attention tinted pictures were on fet and the credit for this spleM work goes to Chick Boreham, vin Johnson and Cliff Ha:.
