Eleven students will receive diplomas from the Duchesne High School at special exercises, to be held in the Ward Hall Wednesday evening, May 22nd, at 8 oclock. This is the largest graduating class the Duchesne High School has ever had and the teachers and students have been working hard on the educational pageant to be presented on Wednesday evening, May 22nd. Members of the Junior and Senior classes will take part in the pageant and program which is composed almost entirely of original numbers, produced by the students themselves. Songs and tap dancing will be featured on the program. The pageant, The Rainbow Trail is an allegorical story in which the characters, Queen of Light, Spirit of Education, Initi- - ative, Appreciation, Courtesy, Cooperation Obedience, Health, Patriotism' Learning, Service and Loyalty, help Student on his way through life, after leaving school. Queen of Light is portrayed by Faun Oman; Student, by Glenn Meacham; Spirit of Education by Marian Liddell, and the minejr parts by members of the Junior and Senior classes. The program, which precedes the pageant is as follows: Mr. Ezra Tobler; Invocation, Valedictorian, Robert Brown; Salutatory address, Ellsworth Curran; Junior Song to Seniors, Junior Class; Senior Response to the Juniors, Senior Class.
