Show ! DEATH OF GEORGE E. BLAIR. Very sudden was the summons that came from the other land to George E. Blair. Few of his acquaintances knew ho was 111 until the afternoon papers announced his serious condliton, anl before Hhe last sheets of the edition were off the press, ho had left for the unknown. Ho was attacked while on the coast, and the disease made such progress that upon his arrival hero ho had to be carried from the car. He SH was taken at once to the L. D. S. hos- '"flH pital, wliero he expired Thursday i afternoon at 4 o'clock, being at that time a little over forty years of age. Mr. Blair was a native of Utah; the son of Seth M. and Sarah Jane Blair, and was born at Weslt Weber, April G, 18G5. His early life was spent In the county of Cacho, whore ho was educated edu-cated and married Nellie M. Thatcher, daughter of George Thatcher and a granddaughter of Brlgham Young. His wife and five children, two girls and three boys, together with one brother, Jed M. Blair, and two sisters, Mrs. James T. Hammond and Mrs. Edward Hanson mourn their loss and have the sympathy of hundreds of friends, i The deceased was at one timo manager man-ager of the Horald, under the ownership owner-ship of R. C.
