Show !DR. HARDY IS DEAD. I Truth is very sorry to have to chronicle chron-icle the death of Dr. Milton H. Hardy, I of Provo, which occurred on Thursday as a result of heart trouble. Doctor Hnrdy had an attack of leakage of the I heart early in the spring, but thought ho had recovered from its effects, when an attack of bowel complaint , brought on another attack which ter-mlnated ter-mlnated suddenly and fatally. Al- i? though ho was CI years of age, do-,j do-,j ceased ought to have had many years of usefulness ahead of him, because I he was a learned man and an able one. I He was at the head of the Asylum for 1 the Insane at Provo for niany years I and mado an enviable record In that I institution. He was at one time con- nected with the Brlgham Young Acad- emy, in connection with the late Karl G. Maesor, and also held the position I of county superintendent of schools. I After graduating from the medical de- partment of the University of New f York ho served as an Instructor in the I state university. Ho was a man highly J honored and was liked by every one i who had the pleasure of knowing him. He married Miss Llbbie 'Smoot, ! daughter of the late A. O. Smoot, and a sister of Senator Smoot, by whom ho had fivo children, who survive him. The funeral services will be held tomorrow. |
