Show DEATH OF MRS. MARY WILLIS. A good woman passed away In the death of Mrs. Mary Willis, which occurred oc-curred at tho residence of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Morehouse, In this city, on Tuesday last, of old age. Mrs. Willis was born in Devonshire, England, 82 years ago. When a mere child she came to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pengelly, and resided in the east for a number of years. About GO years ago sho camo west and married and became the mother of eight children, chil-dren, five of whom were girls and threo boys. Tho family resided In Montana for some time and moved to southern Utah, where they lived for many years and becamo quite prominent promi-nent In tho south. Her husband died years ago and on her devolved the. care and responsibility of bringing up her children. Four daughters, Mrs. Brown, Mrs Morehouse, Mrs. Donaldson Donald-son and Mrs. Nolan, and one son, Hy-rum, Hy-rum, survlvo her. Sho had been In feeblo health for a number of years, was at all times patient and cheerful, and at tho end willingly resigned her soul to her Maker. Sho was a most exemplary woman, a good wlfo and mother, a true friend, one who played her part well In this world and passed to her reward loved, honored and revered re-vered by all who know her. |
